The 11th Macau International Innovation and Invention Fair 2023 was successfully held

The 11th Macao International Innovation and Invention Fair 2023 was successfully held at the Macao Convention and Exhibition Center from October 27 to 29, under the guidance of China Association of Inventions, organized by Macao Innovation and Invention Association, and co-organized by the General Association of World Invention and Wisdom Property Union, Hong Kong Invention Association, and Hong Kong General Association of Invention and Innovation. This year's exhibition attracted a total of 523 works from 27 countries and regions, including Russia, Croatia, Romania, Indonesia, Iran and Thailand, as well as 63 provinces and municipalities across the Taiwan Strait and in four regions, the largest number ever.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Mr. Lai Pak Keong, President of Macau Association for Innovation and Invention.

In order to improve the quality of award selection and ensure the fairness and credibility of the award results, this year's Invention Exhibition invited 139 experts and scholars from home and abroad to form an expert judging team. 222 gold awards, 157 silver awards and 84 bronze awards were given to "Innovative Inventions" projects; 6 gold awards, 6 silver awards and 3 bronze awards were given to "Creative Works" projects; 18 gold awards, 21 silver awards and 3 bronze awards were given to "Scientific and Technological Paintings" projects. The "Creative Works" program awarded 6 gold, silver and bronze prizes each; the "Scientific and Technological Painting" program awarded 18 gold prizes, 21 silver prizes and 3 bronze prizes. Meanwhile, the "Innovation and Invention" program has two categories, namely "Best Belt and Road Award" and "Best Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area Award" for students, individuals and enterprises, Best International Environmental Protection Award", "Best International Innovation Award", "Best International Invention Award" and "Most Market Potential Award". " and 12 other important honorary awards.

The Macao International Innovation and Invention Fair has been successfully held for 11 times. Through the Macao International Innovation and Invention Fair, in-depth exchanges with the invention community from all over the world are carried out to jointly improve and promote the development of the cause of innovation and invention, and the Fair has become an important activity for the Macao SAR to display the latest inventions and new achievements, disseminate the concept of invention, and promote the transformation of inventions.
