The Unveiling Ceremony of the Branch of Community Development for Innovation and Creativity of China Association of Inventions (CAI) was Held in Yihai Garden community

On June 26, 2021, the unveiling ceremony of the Branch of Community Development for Innovation and Creativity of CAI （CODIC Branch）was held in Yihai Garden community.

Attended the unveiling ceremony were Yu Huarong, Secretary General of CAI; Wang Linda, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Yihai Group, Nie Zhenning, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of Taofen Foundation and Vice Chairman of China Publishing Association; Song Guilun; Professor of China Institute of Education and Social Development of Beijing Normal University, and He Zhenfu, Vice President of CAI, etc.

Yu Huarong introduced the original intention of establishing the Branch of Community Development for Innovation and Creativity of CAI (CODIC Branch), emphasizing the idea of strengthening community construction and promoting the development of community invention and innovation. Community management and services are part of national governance. If the community is well done, the family well done, and the foundation of social governance and even national governance would be good.

To this end, CAI will participate in and support the community development and innovation work, set up branches to practice and promote innovation in the communities. CAI should sum up and popularize relevant experience to demonstrate and promote innovation development in more neighborhoods and communities.

In the future, the CODIC Branch should further optimize the ecological environment for sci-tech innovation; organize primary and secondary school students in the community to participate in scientific and technological innovation research and learning activities; absorb and cultivate innovative talents, widely unite with enthusiastic institutions and individuals from all walks of life; organize community residents to carry out activities related to innovation; enrich community residents' life, and cultivate scientific and technological innovation consciousness and spirit; and actively explore the new direction of community construction and governance innovation and development. Hope the CODIC Branch will become better and better after its inauguration. 

As a community with 40000 residents and more than 4000 primary and secondary school students, Yihai has been committed to the community construction, governance and education for many years and strongly supported by CAI.
