Inaugural Meeting was Held for the Shandong Association of Intellectual Property Services in Jinan

On July 9, 2021, Shandong Association of Intellectual Property Services was solemnly held in Jinan. More than 100 representatives from IP services, enterprises , colleges and universities, research institutes in Shandong Province attended the meeting and elected directors and heads of the association. Presented the meeting and delivered speeches were Yu Huarong, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of China Association of Inventions (CAI);  Xie Xiaoyong, Deputy Secretary General of China Intellectual Property Research Association;  Shou Hong, Deputy Secretary General of All China Patent Agents Association; Nan Ping, Deputy Secretary General of China Trademark Association;  Yu Zhiyong, member of the Party group, Deputy Director General of Shandong Market Supervision and Administration Bureau and DDG of Shandong Provincial Intellectual Property Administration .

By the end of 2019, the number of institutions engaged in intellectual property services in China is about 66000, and the number of employees in intellectual property services industry is about 820000. In that year, the total operating revenue of IP services in China was about 210 billion yuan. The members are from patent, trademark and copyright agencies to geographical indication services, IP certification, appraisal and evaluation institutions, covering all categories and all processes of IP creation, application, implementation, utilization and protection, etc. With a global perspective, the association would accurately grasp the internal requirements and development laws of IP services, and do a good job of the whole chain services for the whole chain of business. Remarkable achievements have been made in the publicity of IP policies, the promotion of exchanges and cooperation within and outside the province and internationally, and in strengthening of industry self-discipline, and the cultivation of IP talents, making outstanding contributions to the overall and high-quality development of Shandong's intellectual property cause.

Representatives from China IP News, CAI, China Trademark Association,All China Patent Agents Association, Shandong Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, Capital Association of Intellectual Property Services, Jinan High-tech Zone Market Supervision Department, etc. attended the meeting.

China IP Operation Alliance, Shanghai Association of Intellectual Property Services , Guangdong Intellectual Economic Development Promotion Association, Guangdong South China IP Culture Promotion Center, Guangdong Patent Agency Association, Henan Zhongzhou IP Culture Communication Center, Chengdu Hengdao Institute of IP and Sci-tech Innovation, Shandong Inventors Association, Shandong Financial Industry Federation, Shandong Engineers Association, Shandong Popular Science  Promotion Association and Shandong UAV Technology and Application Association sent congratulatory letters for the founding of Shandong IP Service Association.
